As an economist and entrepreneur, Mark works internationally on significant projects within the Fisheries industry, as well as engaging with businesses relating to seafood supply chains, procurement, traceability, sustainability and certification.

Recent highlights include:

• Development of Fishery Logistics, software that captures key supply chain data and makes this information more visible and easier to access for suppliers and the food service industry for seafood inventory management and procurement.
• Development of a seafood traceability and management platform, FishTale, that seeks to bridge the gap between the increasing demand for transparency and traceability in the seafood supply chain.
• Development of BackTracker, a data repository providing a referenceable location for confidential fisheries and trade data collected by government agencies.
